2024’S EVENT SUMMARY
The 2024 Coney Island Music Festival took place on July 28th on the beautiful shores of Coney Island, Lake of the Woods, and was a resounding success. Despite initial concerns about rain, the weather was perfect with clear skies and hot temperatures. The crowd was treated to an amazing lineup featuring Daryn Friesen, Mike Procyshyn, Brooklyn Doran, Jean Paul de Roover, and LLUX, delivering five hours of fantastic entertainment. In between sets, Jada Siwak kept the kids entertained, ensuring a great experience for all ages. This year marked a transition in leadership, as Ferg Devins and Michael and Cheryl O'Flaherty stepped back after building the festival into a staple of the Kenora events calendar. The festival, powered entirely by volunteers and donations, remains strong and looks forward to its 17th edition in 2025.
